New Features

  • Share the links to your bots in social networks and messengers. When you send a link in Skype, WhatsApp and other applications, the recipients will now be able to see a preview and a short description of your bot.
  • Cards: a menu was added to add attributes to the cards easily. Just choose the desired menu item, and an attribute will be added to the card.
  • The design of creating a bot is renewed: user-friendly preview and a range of templates that you can use as a source of inspiration. There are more than 50 templates in different themes suitable for various business targets. In short order we are going to expand that list even more and add new templates and versions in other languages.
  • New Inbox message notification sounds: now you won’t miss any new conversations with your users.
  • Now there’s an option to send an audio file only, instead of a text message from the bot. You can still send both an audio file and a text, you can build your bot the way you want it to be like. Make sure that in Text-to-Speech manual mode you have a generated file, otherwise the bot will only send a text. - When you send an audio file only, embedded media will be missing.
  • We added a possibility to easily change the order of the elements in the gallery without having to delete the gallery and create it again.
  • Added new graphs to Advanced Stats:
    1. Average session lifetime to view for how long do your users usually interact with your bots.
    2. User messages by bots and by channels.

Improvements

  • There are some improvements of the layout of the galleries in the Web- and Test chat.
  • WebChat: we have changed the way the channel icons are disposed in the head of a chat for Webchat, Embed Code, Preview.
  • Connection indicators for remote interactions were added in:
  • Bot -> Build -> Interaction -> Connections (Simple / AI)
  • Bot -> Build -> Interaction -> Cards -> Text / Gallery -> Button Blocks / Payment ( Successful payment / Error fields)
  • Bot -> Global Connections (Simple / AI)
  • Now you will get notifications when some connections in your bot are out of order, and have a possibility to fix them.
  • Collaboration: We have updated the design of user icons when working together.
  • Webchat has been optimized for the Internet Explorer 11 browser .
  • Activity logs: we have added a possibility to sort data in a list according to selected options.

Bug fixes

  • User Area: we have fixed the incorrect text in the pushes that are displayed after the bot admin sent a message from the Inbox section. The user however didn’t go to Await Response interaction.
  • WebChat: scheduled broadcasts created on the base of templates weren’t delivered.
  • Broadcast/Reports (Mobile): visual issues in “Broadcast” and “Reports” sections were fixed.
  • Build/Inbox/Broadcast: “Share” button was removed from “Text Card” and “Gallery” - it is not supported by Facebook anymore.
  • For RSS card the checkbox "Enable "Share" button for each story (Facebook channel only)".
  • Channels: Bot Admin icon was missing in the “Channels” section when collaborating.
  • Webchat: In the process of communication with a bot, after deleting a dialog in the “Inbox” section, the channel was freezing up.
  • Test Chat: cards were not seen in the test chat until the bot was started in Webchat.
  • Channels->Fb: error 503 appeared when Facebook channel was chosen in the shared bot.
  • Build: in the “Bot Scheme” section “Start Interaction” button was available for initial interaction.
  • Inbox: Search bar was working inappropriately - the required dialog was displayed both in “Recent” and “Archive” section.
  • Inbox -> Search bar: in search results an unwanted dialog appeared with “Await Response” indicator when the “Await Response” function was used in a Webchat channel.
  • Test Chat: “Follow on the structure” function was being activated automatically .
  • Upgrade to PRO: active tab highlighting in the left side menu was missing after clicking on the “Upgrade to Pro” button in “Upgrade to PRO” window.
  • Channels->Webchat->Customize->Preview: a part of the panel in Bot Message -> Background wasn’t changing color.
  • Left Side menu: the list of languages for "Francais, Deutsch, Italiano, Japanese, Portugues" languages was located too far from the “Language” button (with 1600*900 resolution ).
  • Webchat: “Await Response” indicator wasn’t shutting off when connecting through Global Connection.
  • Inbox: in “All bots” dropdown the bot names text was blue, not black.
  • Profile -> Data Processing Addendum: visual issues with hints were fixed.
  • Test-chat/Inbox: when using the “Highlight extracted data” function the names of some types of Extracted data were not displayed .
  • Build: visual issue of scroll bar in the list of interactions was broken.
  • WebChat: visual issue of the text in the “You have started a new conversation in another tab...” modal window.
  • Dashboard/Inbox: elements of “Embed audio” were displayed as a text.
  • Profile->Balance history: display issues in “Make payment” modal window.
  • Configure->Backup/Restore: Bot admins had a capability to export/import a shared bot (Collaboration feature).
  • Reports: Custom Variables, Extracted data and Attributes filter wasn’t working if the attribute was set to Response To, Custom Variables или Extracted data.
  • Test Chat: Greeting message was always displayed in the chat, even when it (Greeting message) was switched off.
  • Reports: “Prior response”, “Extractions” and “Custom variables” were not highlighted when “Highlight extracted data” was activated .
  • Slack: after deploying the channel the message appeared, saying that the current bot is already open for editing in another tab.
  • WebChat: Persistent Menu visual issues were broken.
  • Profile->Balance history: the visual issue of a sorting icon for the “Amount” column was fixed.
  • Channels->Webchat->Get embed code: “Save” button was constantly active even if there weren’t any changes in the “Custom styles”.
  • Reports: in the “Extracted Data” drop-down menu a selected data type icon wasn’t displayed.
  • Inbox: Visual issues of the vertical scroll in the text template edit window were broken (for Firefox).
  • Broadcast (Mobile): Visual issues of the text for the amount of receivers were fixed, also the scroll for the list of receivers was rebuilt.
  • Broadcast: when the “Message” field was not completed, “You already have an empty card” modal window appeared.
  • Broadcast: the checkboxes next to the chosen receivers were not displayed when the setting “Show Selected” was on.
  • Channels->Webchat->Customize (iOS): in the chat preview the layout of message bubbles was fixed.
  • Web/Embed chat: a bot message wasn’t delivered to the chat when you re-shifted to the interaction “Await response” using a button on the card.
  • Test/Web/Embed: When you create a bot, if you download your own bot icon and choose a bot from the templates, then the bot icon in the User area will be different from the bot icon in Test/Web/Embed chat. Fixed.
  • Webchat: In the User Area and in Inbox the indicators of the waiting users weren’t discarding after you shifted to the “Await Response” interaction and restarted a bot.
  • Webchat: there was an option of scrolling the gallery images that are displayed in a line.
  • Channels->Webchat->Customize: when you changed the value for "Close” button color, the color of the “Close” button wasn’t changing.
  • Test Chat: an “error response” message was displayed in a chat after the plugin was tested with “Test this interaction” two times in a row.
  • Collaboration: in “Channels” section an Admin icon was missing while working in collaboration with someone.
  • STT: speech wasn’t recognized on Facebook channel.
  • Persistent Menu: “Go to URL” item wasn’t saved for Facebook channel.
  • Webchat: some bots were freezing up when you started typing after clicking on the “Get Started” button.
  • Build: in TTS AUTO mode got unavailable after activating the manual mode.
  • WebChat: The bot kept answering the user’s questions after an Admin had sent a message from the Inbox.
  • WebChat (email extraction): in the course of communication with a bot a message from "Error Response" was delivered after the Bot Admin had sent a message to the chat from Inbox.
  • TTS: you couldn’t play the sample after pausing it.
  • WebChat: you couldn’t switch from a WebChat to other channels.
  • User Area (Build, Persistent menu, GC, Channels, Configure): “All bots” choice is now available in the bot select drop-down menu.
  • Test-chat: when Extraction interaction was used, the bot was freezing up if JSON API interaction was in Fallback (+ bot answer was duplicated).
  • Line: Gallery cards sent from Inbox were not delivered.
  • Collaboration: in My Bots section a “Collaboration” icon was missing for the bot owner.
  • Collaboration: in the “Channels” section there was a visual issue with a user icon (when you were editing the bot in collaboration with somebody else).
  • TTS: In the Firefox browser when bot messages were very short (contained one word only) the track length was 00:00. Corrected to 00:01.
  • Webchat: for some interactions the “Disable input text” function was activated when shifting from one interaction to another.
